This session will explore the exposure and vulnerability of identity and access management in the cloud. As stated in the Verizon Data Breach Report when asked about cloud security they said, “We are often asked whether 'the cloud' factors into many of the breaches we investigate. The easy is 'No - not really.' It's more about giving up control of our assets and data (and not controlling the associated risk) than any technology specific to the cloud.“ This session will explore this issue. What are these risks? What are the vulnerabilities. How can an effective identity and access management strategy effectively improve the controls and assist in providing a more secure cloud environment.
