Francois de Repentigny brings to Neuralitic Systems more than 10 years of senior management experience in both start-up and large telecom company environments. Prior to joining Neuralitic, Mr. de Repentigny was Director of Marketing for Vidéotron, a Montreal-based telecommunications firm where he was responsible for residential Internet and cable telephony services. While managing all commercialization activities for these services, Mr. de Repentigny exceeded all growth targets and led the market in terms of ARPU and churn.
Mr. de Repentigny also spent five years in a variety of senior strategic planning roles for Bell Canada. He was previously Director of Product Management at Clarent, a Silicon Valley-based VoIP company, managing product evolution through the company’s rise from small VC-backed start-up to publicly traded company with hundreds of customers generating more than $100M in annual revenues. He began his telecom career as an industry analyst at Frost & Sullivan, where he launched its VoIP practice, as well as wrote the firm’s top-selling report of all time.
Mr. de Repentigny holds an MSc in Operations Research from the London School of Economics and a BA Honours in Economics from the University of Waterloo.
In the future, companies will rebuild transform business applications to take advantage of a wide range of by using contextual data from all connected devices, including location, time of day, presence and device type. Sensors in the latest devices will also also provide contextual information such as temperature, humidity, motion, and orientation. Applications based on business critical data from connected sensors will be used by many industries, with utility, oil and gas industries leading the way. Transforming business will require businesses to use the cloud and big data processing to turn mobile data into insight in real-time. This session will discuss the opportunities that combining these technologies can provide.
