Mr. Manesh Patel is Sanmina-SCI’s Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In his current role, Mr. Patel is responsible for the global Information Technology (IT) team that supports all aspects of Sanmina-SCI’s operations.
Mr. Patel joined Sanmina-SCI in July 1997 and progressed through a number of senior IT management positions until the Company’s merger with SCI in 2001. During this period, Sanmina-SCI experienced revenue growth from $600 million to over $4 billion which provided Mr. Patel opportunities and challenges across all aspects of IT solutions, management and organization. He was instrumental in providing leadership in the development and implementation of the IT strategy that enabled international expansion, customer-focused services, and the successful integration of over 10 mergers and acquisitions.

In September 2006, Mr. Patel assumed the position of Chief Information Officer and has continued the globalization of the IT organization in conjunction with Sanmina-SCI’s multi-billion dollar operations worldwide. Prior to joining Sanmina-SCI, Mr. Patel was with the European operations of Ford Motor Company and moved to Silicon Valley in 1989 to lead the IT organizations of two start-up companies over
a period of eight years.

Mr. Patel holds a Bachelor of Science degree
in Aeronautical Engineering from Manchester University in England, and completed his Computer Science Masters coursework at San Jose State University in California
