Speaker - Rolf Harms, Director, Corporate Strategy, Microsoft Rolf Harms is Director, Corporate Strategy at Microsoft. His main focus has been on the industry transition to the cloud and on shaping Microsoft’s role in it. He led the team that developed the Go-To-Market plans for Windows Azure before its announcement in 2008. He also developed a number of internal cloud strategy memos for the company’s Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Directors. More recently, Rolf authored a whitepaper that was published by Microsoft, titled “The Economics of the Cloud”. Rolf previously worked at SAP and management consulting firm Mitchell Madison Group and holds an MBA from UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business.

Ravi is also an Adjunct Professor at New York University. He is currently teaching a graduate course on Cloud Computing that provides the fundamental knowledge related to the principles, economics, technology & management of cloud computing.
Ravi joined CA in 2006, and prior to CA, Ravi held several senior management positions at AT&T. During his 17 years of progressive leadership tenure at AT&T he led multiple business organizations including the worldwide network consulting and professional services organization that provided vision, defined strategy & developed technology driven solutions to address the business needs for corporations and governments around the globe. He sold & delivered hundreds of millions in services engagements. He built enduring C level client relationships, and received numerous awards including outstanding sales achievement, gold standing ovation, and has been elected to the AT&T leaders’ council.
Ravi is active with multiple charitable organizations. He is co-founder of an international organization involved in helping underprivileged and physically and mentally challenged children in India.
Ravi holds multiple degrees including a masters’ degree in computer science from Queens College of City University of New York, a master’s degree in theoretical physics from University of Mysore, India, and has completed extensive graduate work in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University, New York.
